That title is a joke.
However, I do indeed have mono. No, I did not kiss anyone with mono. I don't even know anyone with mono. I have no idea how I got it. Its very annoying.
I haven't been feeling well so yesterday I went into the doctor. I told her I'd been feeling way more sick than seems normal for a lot longer than I usually have viruses. She ordered a blood test (that is every doctor's knee-jerk reaction, I swear) and went the results came in, she looked down and went, "Oh wow." "Oh wow good or oh wow bad?" I asked. "Well," she said, "See that number there? We're supposed to test for mono if it is over 15. Yours is, well, its 48." So she called the lab and had them test the blood for mono, and it came back positive. The treatment? There is none. Sleep. For 6-8 weeks.

Oh no! It's one of my fears to randomly contract mono, has been since elementary school. Yeah, I'm paranoid, a bit of a germaphobe--nothing too extreme.
I hope you feel better quickly.
Not gonna lie, I'm kinda jealous. I want a legitimate excuse to sleep for the next six weeks.
Well, along with an excuse to sleep comes horrible headaches, constant nausea, the fact that even though you are so tired you want to die you still have to go to every class as well as work, the inability to do anything fun, or anything period, because you are so tired, and general misery. For the next six weeks. :) You aren't jealous. haha.
Er... so, you don't know me, and I don't know you, but I was looking for other people who had "Throwing things at people" as one of their hobbies, and found your blog... and I've been really enjoying it. I'm really sorry you're sick. I'm especially sorry if you don't like it when random people post on your blog and now you're totally freaked out.... I guess I'll go away now.... But if you have no objections to random strangers, I'm always up for totally random conversations with people I've never met!
